Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) is a vital component of India’s defense apparatus. It plays a pivotal role in securing the challenging and often inhospitable border regions, especially in the northeastern state of Arunachal Pradesh. In this article, we will delve into the key aspects of the ITBP, including its recruitment drive and eligibility criteria.
ITBP, under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, is entrusted with the duty of safeguarding the Indo-Tibetan border, one of the most demanding terrains on the planet. With the responsibility to defend India’s interests in areas like Tawang, West Kameng, and Dibang Valley, ITBP soldiers brave harsh weather conditions and high altitudes to keep our borders secure.
The ITBP is conducting a special recruitment drive to fill vacancies that remained unfilled from the 2022 Constable (General Duty) recruitment. This drive is exclusively for male and female Indian citizens hailing from the border districts of Arunachal Pradesh. The recruitment process will follow an open rally system.
