Blaster Gr II (Trainee)

Qualification & Experience:

• Minimum of Matriculation (10th) or ITI qualification
• Possession of Blaster/Mining Mate certificate
• Holding a First Aid certificate
• Proven experience of a minimum of 3 years in blasting operations

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

Reservation of Posts:
While certain posts mentioned in this notification are not explicitly reserved for specific categories, candidates from reserved categories are encouraged to apply, provided they meet the eligibility criteria set for the UR (Unreserved) category. Such candidates will be treated at par with unreserved category candidates during the selection process.

Stipend During Training Period (Rs.): 19000 (First 12 Months), 19500 (Next 06 Months)
Pay Scale on Regularization (Rs.): 19900-3%-35040

Minimum Age: 18 years

HOW TO APPLY:

• Online Mode: Applications will be accepted exclusively through the online mode.
• NMDC Website: Eligible candidates are required to visit the NMDC website – www.nmdc.co.in – and access the application link available on the “Careers” page.
• Active Period: The application link will be active and accessible from 11:00 AM on 16th August 2023 until 11:59 PM on 5th September 2023.
• Information Updates: Any additional information, clarifications, or updates pertaining to the notification will be promptly communicated through the NMDC website.

Application Fee Details:

• Amount: Rs. 150/- (Rupees one hundred fifty only)
• This fee is non-refundable and is applicable to all candidates.

Exemptions for Certain Categories:

• Candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-servicemen categories and Departmental Candidates applying for the post through on-line mode are exempted from paying the application fee.
• Proof of eligibility for exemption, as stated at clause no. 8.12, must be enclosed along with the application. Failure to provide the necessary certificate or fee payment details will result in the rejection of the application.

Payment Options and Process:

• The application fee can be conveniently paid using UPI, credit card, or online net banking through SBI-Collect.
• Transaction charges, if applicable, will be borne by the candidate.
• After a successful transaction, the system will generate an application form along with a Unique Transaction number and application number. This information should be printed and retained for your records.
• It’s important to note that if you do not receive the application form with the Unique Transaction number, your online application will not be considered complete. In such cases, you will need to make the payment again.
• In the event of a failed transaction, the paid amount will be automatically refunded to the same account from which the payment was originally made. The refund will be processed within 10 working days.

Commitment to Fairness:

• We want to assure you that once the application fee is paid, it will not be refunded or adjusted against any further notifications.
• In case of any cancellation of the notification for which the application fee was paid, the fee cannot be reclaimed.

MODE OF SELECTION:

The selection process is meticulously designed to identify the most suitable candidates for the positions. It consists of the following stages:

1. Written Test: An assessment designed to evaluate candidates’ knowledge and skills.This test holds a total of 100 marks and consists of objective-type questions. It will be conducted in both Hindi and English languages.
2. Trade Test: A practical test focusing on candidates’ proficiency in specific trade-related tasks.This is a qualifying test. Candidates must score a minimum of 40% to qualify (for UR candidates).

TRADE TEST / 2ND LEVEL TEST:

A significant aspect of the selection process is the Trade Test. However, it’s important to note that the Trade Test is qualifying in nature and its marks will not contribute to the final selection process. Successful candidates in the Trade Test will proceed to the next level of the selection process.

VERIFICATION OF DOCUMENTS WITH ORIGINALS:

Candidates shortlisted for the 2nd Level Test (Trade Test) are required to produce original documents along with self-attested copies to verify their eligibility. This step is crucial to ensuring the integrity of the selection process.
