AIESL is excited to announce the opening for Aircraft Technicians on a Fixed Term Contract Basis. We are seeking applications from qualified Indian Nationals who meet the eligibility criteria and experience requirements as of 1st August 2023. Eligibility and Experience (As of 01.08.2023) for Aircraft Technicians:

Aircraft Technician (Maintenance / Engine shop) – B1 Trade:

• AME Diploma/Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (02 or 03 years) in Mechanical stream from DGCA-approved institutions with 60% marks or equivalent grade (55% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
• OR Diploma in Engineering (3 years) in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent recognized by Central/State Government with 60% marks or equivalent grade (55% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
• Ex-servicemen can qualify with successful completion of Group 1 and/or II in the relevant trade or equivalent qualification of Diploma in Engineering in Airframe/Engine trades conducted by the Indian Air Force, or a 4-year course/Diploma in Aircraft Training conducted by Indian Navy.

Aircraft Technician (Maintenance) – B2 Trade:

• AME Diploma/Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (02 or 03 years) in Avionics stream from DGCA-approved institutions with 60% marks or equivalent grade (55% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
• OR Diploma in Engineering (3 years) in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication/Radio/Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent recognized by Central/State Government with 60% marks or equivalent grade (55% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
• Ex-servicemen can qualify similarly to B1 Trade.

Technician (Welder):

• 10+2 passed (with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths) with ITI in welder trade, recognized by Central/State Government or NCVT.
• One year experience in Aviation Maintenance OR two years welder trade experience in industry.

Technician (Machinist):

• 10+2 passed (with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths) with ITI in machinist trade, recognized by Central/State Government or NCVT.
• One year experience in Aviation Maintenance OR two years machinist trade experience in industry.

Other Conditions for All Posts:

• Maximum Age Limit: General/EWS-35 Yrs., OBC-38 Yrs., SC/ST-40 Yrs. (Age relaxation for Ex-Servicemen as per Govt. directives).
• Duration of Contract: Fixed Term Contract for 05 years, extendable for another 05 years based on company requirements and performance.
• Emoluments: Rs.28,000/- per month at the time of joining.

Venue and Interview Schedule:

• Aircraft Technician (B1 Maintenance & Engine Shop): Expected from 1st September 2023 onwards at Plot No.1, Sector 9, Notified Area of SEZ, MIHAN, Nagpur, Maharashtra, 441 108.
• Aircraft Technician (B2 Maintenance): Expected from 1st September 2023 onwards at the same venue.
• Technician (Machinist – COD): Expected from 1st September 2023 onwards at the same venue.
• Technician (Welder – COD): Expected from 1st September 2023 onwards at the same venue.

Reservations:
Reservation quotas are applied for various categories including SC, ST, OBC, and EWS, as specified.

Required Documents for Interview:
Candidates are requested to bring the following documents along with one set of self-attested copies:

• Original qualification certificates (Education & Technical) as per eligibility criteria.
• Original experience certificates.
• Proof of Date of Birth.
• Proof of Permanent and Present Address.
• 2 Passport Size photographs.
• ID Proof (PAN Card/Aadhaar Card/Driving License/Passport, etc.).
• Proof of Payment of application Fees (Online payment Receipt).
• Service Discharge Book (Ex-Servicemen).
• Caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC.
• EWS certificate for eligible candidates.

General Conditions:

• The number of vacancies may change based on company requirements.
• Management reserves the right to conduct, interpret, and modify the selection process.
• The selected candidates will be initially posted at Nagpur, with the possibility of transfers as per company needs.
• Selection and empanelment don’t guarantee immediate appointment.
• The contract is extendable based on performance and company requirements.
• After training, candidates will receive Provident Fund, Gratuity, and medical policy benefits.
• Housing accommodation arrangements are the candidate’s responsibility.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
• Travel reimbursement for SC/ST candidates residing beyond 80 kms from the interview venue.
