Vacancy Details:
BEL is currently seeking talented individuals for temporary positions at its Product Development & Innovation Centre (PDIC) and Centres of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru. The available positions are as follows:
- Trainee Engineer – I
- Electronics: 26 posts
- Mechanical: 3 posts
- Computer Science: 4 posts
- Total: 33 posts
- Project Engineer – I
- Electronics: 16 posts
- Computer Science: 6 posts
- Total: 22 posts
Terms of Engagement and Allowance
a. Trainee Engineer – I:
- Initial engagement: 2 years (extendable up to 3 years)
- Remuneration:
- 1st year: Rs. 30,000/- per month
- 2nd year: Rs. 35,000/- per month
- 3rd year (if extended): Rs. 40,000/- per month
b. Project Engineer – I:
- Initial engagement: 3 years (extendable up to 4 years)
- Remuneration:
- 1st year: Rs. 40,000/- per month
- 2nd year: Rs. 45,000/- per month
- 3rd year: Rs. 50,000/- per month
- 4th year (if extended): Rs. 55,000/- per month
c. Additional allowance of Rs. 12,000/- per year towards medical insurance, attire, etc., will be provided.
Upper Age Limit Criteria
a. Trainee Engineer – I:
- General & EWS: Up to 28 years
- OBC: Relaxation of 3 years
- SC/ST: Relaxation of 5 years
- PwBD: Relaxation of 10 years
b. Project Engineer – I:
- General & EWS: Up to 32 years
- OBC: Relaxation of 3 years
- SC/ST: Relaxation of 5 years
- PwBD: Relaxation of 10 years
Educational Qualifications Required
a. Trainee Engineers – I:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical, or Computer Science Engineering with minimum 55% for General/OBC/EWS and Pass Class for SC/ST/PWBD candidates.
b. Project Engineers – I:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Computer Science Engineering with minimum 55% for General/OBC/EWS and Pass Class for SC/ST/PWBD candidates.
Relevant Post Qualification Industrial Experience
- Only candidates with relevant post-qualification industrial experience need to apply.
- Teaching, academic, or research experience will not be considered.
- Experience certificates from previous employers must be provided.
Selection Procedure
- Written Test: 85 marks
- Interview: 15 marks
Method of Selection
- Selection based on merit in the Written Test followed by an Interview.
