Position: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Qualifications and Experience

We are seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and experience:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Postgraduate Diploma in Nuclear Medicine Technology (e.g., DMRIT, BNMT).
Master of Science in Nuclear Medicine or an equivalent course recognized by the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB).

Key Responsibilities:

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at the State Cancer Institute, your responsibilities will include:

Conducting nuclear medicine procedures using advanced imaging equipment.
Preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
Collaborating with physicians and radiologists to perform diagnostic scans.
Ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
Maintaining and calibrating imaging equipment for optimal performance.
Adhering to radiation safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
Documenting patient records and maintaining confidentiality.
