In pursuit of its commitment to providing quality healthcare services to the community, the Government of Assam, through the Office of the Principal cum Chief Superintendent at Jorhat Medical College & Hospital (JMCH), is seeking applications from enthusiastic and dedicated Indian citizens. These applications are invited in the standard format, as published in the Assam Gazette (Part IX), for individuals willing to make a significant contribution to the healthcare sector. This unique opportunity offers temporary and contractual positions within Jorhat Medical College and Hospital, Jorhat, in association with the National Drug Dependence Treatment Centre (NDDTC) at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.
Position Details:
1. Medical Officer
- Qualification: MBBS recognized by the National Medical Commission
- Number of Positions: 01
- Consolidated Remuneration per Month: Rs. 50,000.00
- Desirable Qualification: MD in Psychiatry
2. ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife)
- Qualification: ANM recognized by ANC
- Number of Positions: 01
- Consolidated Remuneration per Month: Rs. 17,000.00
- Desirable Qualification: 2 years of experience from a recognized institute.
3. Counselor
- Qualification: Psychologist/Psychiatric/Social Worker/MA/MSc in Psychology/Social Work with a minimum of one year of training in counseling from a recognized institute.
- Number of Positions: 01
- Consolidated Remuneration per Month: Rs. 25,000.00
4. Data Manager
- Qualification: Graduate in any discipline with a minimum one-year diploma course in computer application.
- Number of Positions: 01
- Consolidated Remuneration per Month: Rs. 13,000.00
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected through a Walk-in Interview scheduled for September 28, 2023, at 10:00 AM. The interview will be conducted at the Psychiatry Office, JMCH, and additional information can be found on the institute’s website: www.jorhatmedicalcollege.in. Please note that no TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
