Selection Process:
The selection process for the position of Driver is designed to evaluate candidates’ driving skills and overall suitability for the role. It consists of two main stages:
- Driving/Screening Test: Conducted for 50 marks. Qualifying marks: 30.
- The Driving/Screening Test assesses candidates’ driving proficiency and knowledge of road safety regulations. Scoring above the qualifying mark indicates a candidate’s ability to handle the responsibilities of the job.
- Interview/Viva-voce: Conducted for 40 marks.
- The Interview/Viva-voce phase evaluates candidates’ communication skills, demeanor, and their understanding of the importance of their role as official drivers. It also provides an opportunity for candidates to demonstrate their commitment to safety and professionalism.

As a Driver, your primary responsibility will be to operate the official vehicles of the Civil Judges (Sr. Div) in Kamrup(M), Guwahati. This includes ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of officials and passengers to their destinations.
Can I apply if I am currently employed in the government sector (Central/State or PSU)?
Yes, candidates who are already in Government Service can apply.
