Role and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and plan day-to-day activities within the assigned section or unit.
  • Assign and distribute tasks to staff members in collaboration with the controlling officer.
  • Take responsibility for the performance and outcomes of the section under your control.
  • Fulfill any other duties as assigned by the supervisory authorities.

Group C – Senior Technician

Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage the servicing and maintenance of scientific, electronic, and electrical instruments and machinery.
  • Install and configure operating systems and academic/research software as required.
  • Perform various fabrication tasks within the department.
  • Repair and maintain electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment.
  • Perform additional duties as delegated by superiors.

  • Handle clerical tasks related to assigned subjects and comply with Institute rules and regulations.
  • Follow instructions from Heads of Departments/Heads of Sections regarding assigned work.
