Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for these apprenticeships, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Age Criteria
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Maximum age: 24 years as of 20.09.2023
- Age relaxation is available for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
Qualification & Eligibility Criteria
- The qualifications vary depending on the trade. Qualifications range from 10th class examination to bachelor’s degrees.
- Trade certificates should be from ITIs/Technical Institutions recognized by State Board of Technical Education (SBTE)/National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).

Selection Process

- 70% weightage will be given to the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
- 30% weightage will be given to the interview.
Candidates will be shortlisted based on the merit list and will be informed via the ONGC portal.
Stipend
Selected candidates will be eligible for a monthly stipend as per the Apprenticeship Act, 1961, Apprenticeship Rules 1992, and amendments made from time to time. The stipend rates are:
- For Trade Apprentices: As per Rule 11 of the Apprenticeship Rules 1992.
- For Technician Apprentices: As per Rule 11 of the Apprenticeship Rules 1992.
- For Graduate Apprentices: As per Rule 11 of the Apprenticeship Rules 1992.
