Eligibility and Selection Criteria:

State Adoption Resource Agency (SARA), Assam

1. Programme Officer (SARA)

  • Consolidated Remuneration: Rs. 34,755
  • Eligibility Criteria:
    • Post Graduate degree in Social Work, Sociology, Child Development, Human Rights, Public Administration, Psychology, Psychiatry, Law, Public Health, or Community Resource Management from a recognized University.
    • Or, Graduate in relevant fields with 2 years of experience in project formulation/ implementation, monitoring, and supervision, preferably in Women & Child Development or Social Welfare.
    • Proficiency in Computers.
  • Job Responsibilities: Supervise and monitor all adoption programs, foster care, and sponsorship services for children in need of care and protection in the state.

State Child Protection Society (SCPS), Assam

1. Accounts Officer

  • Consolidated Remuneration: $23,170.00
  • Eligibility Criteria:
    • M. Com with knowledge in Tally.
    • Proficiency in computer.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar work profile in any Govt., Semi-Govt., or organization. Knowledge and proficiency in PFMS will be an added advantage.

2. Asst. cum Data Entry Operator

  • Consolidated Remuneration: Rs. 13,240

    • 12th pass from a recognized Board/ Equivalent Board with Diploma/ Certificate in Computers.
    • At least 1 year of experience of working with Govt./NGO.
  • Job Responsibilities: Assist the officials of SCPS in maintaining data and reports.

District Child Protection Units (DCPUs)

1. District Child Protection Officer

  • Consolidated Remuneration: Rs. 44,023/-
  • Eligibility Criteria:
    • Post Graduate degree in Social Work, Sociology, Child Development, Human Rights, Public Administration, Psychology, Psychiatry, Law, Public Health, or Community Resource Management from a recognized University.
    • At least 3 years of experience of working with the Govt./Non-Government Organization in Documentation, training & Capacity Building, Project formulation/ implementation, monitoring, and supervision, preferably in the field of Women & Child Development/ Social Welfare.
    • Proficiency in Computers.
  • Job Responsibilities:
    • Coordinating and supervising child protection activities at the district level.
    • Monitoring and supervision of all institutions, agencies, projects, and NGOs.
    • Coordinating and networking with all relevant line departments/officers.

2. Protection Officer (Institutional Care)

    • LLB from a recognized university.
    • Experience of at least 2 years of working with Govt./ NGO/ Legal Matters preferably in the field of Women & Child Rights.
    • Good understanding of Women & Child right & protection issues.

Government-run Child Care Institutions (CCIs)

1. Officer-in-charge (Superintendent)

  • Consolidated Remuneration: Rs. 33,100/-
  • Eligibility Criteria:
    • Post Graduate degree in Social Work, Sociology, Child Development, Human Rights, Public Administration, Psychology, Psychiatry, Law, Public Health, or Community Resource Management from a recognized University.
  • Job Responsibilities: Supervision and Monitoring of Child Care Institution.

Age:

Candidates should be between 21 to 38 years of age as of 01/01/2023. Relaxations apply for SC/ST, OBC/MOBC, and Persons with benchmark disability (PwBD).

Residency: Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam.
