Government of Tripura, Social Welfare & Social Education Department, is calling for applications from eligible candidates possessing the required qualifications for the positions of “Chairpersons & Members of the Child Welfare Committees” and “Social Worker Members of the Juvenile Justice Boards.” These roles are available for four and five districts of Tripura, respectively, in accordance with the Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection of Children) Act, 2015/Amendment Act 2021, and the Juvenile Justice (CPC) Model Rules, 2016/Amendment Rules 2022.

POSITION DETAILS:
- These appointments are tenure-based and not salary-based employments.
- Positions involve dealing with cases of “Children in need of care & protection” and “Children in conflict with the law.”
- Compensation includes sitting allowance/honorarium as fixed by the State Government.
- The maximum term for the Committee or Board is 3 years.
