Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for these positions, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
A. Essential Qualification:
- A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in a relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR or a similar accredited test like SLET/SET.
- Candidates with a Ph.D. degree as per UGC regulations are exempted from NET/SET/SLET under certain conditions.

B. Foreign Ph.D.
- The Ph.D. degree must be obtained from a foreign university/institution ranked among the top 500 in the World University Ranking by QS, THE, or ARWU.
Emoluments
Appointed Assistant Professors will receive a fixed emolument of Rs. 82,000/- per month, with no additional allowances.
